Walk-in showers, without refitting the whole bathroom.
Hilton Puckrup Hall is a Hilton hotel near Tewkesbury. The hotel asked us to replace the baths in eight of its bathrooms with walk-in showers.
Rather than strip out each bathroom and start again, we took out the bath and fitted a walk-in shower in its place, with a new shower tray, glass enclosure and tiling to the shower area, plus the plumbing, electrics and decorating to finish each room. The floor tiles, toilet, vanity unit and mirror were all kept.
Keeping what still had years left in it meant less waste and a lower cost than a full refit. Reusing what we can, in line with Green Key, is how we like to work.
All eight bathrooms were finished in three weeks, and the work was completed in July 2026. The hotel stayed open throughout, with only a few rooms out of use at a time.
The sort of job bigger contractors turn down.
We’re on Hilton’s approved supplier list, and our work for Hilton also includes the 350-room refurbishment at Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. We take on small projects like this one as well as full refurbishments.
